EXCERPT: . . . Many legal experts have since argued that the most recent developments in Mueller’s probes could spell the end of Trump’s presidency, claiming that the president will be first impeached, and then indicted. Complicating the issue for Donald Trump’s opponents are the Justice Department guidelines Robert Mueller plans on following.
As the Washington Post reported, the Department of Justice said that a sitting president can be impeached, but not indicted. Meaning that, as a civilian, Donald Trump would likely be indicted, as nothing would stop the authorities from doing so. But Trump can easily bypass this situation as well, according to conservative columnist Jennifer Rubin.

Jennifer Rubin: The latest round of Trump chaos
https://www.journalnow.com/opinion/colum...c7fc8.html
EXCERPT: . . . While Trump's unraveling accelerates, he will replace departing ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley with Heather Nauert, a veteran Fox News personality whose entire experience in government consists of one year as a press spokeswoman; finally shove aside Chief of Staff John Kelley, who failed spectacularly at focusing the president and preserving his own integrity [...]; appoint William Barr to attorney general despite (or because of!) public comments disparaging the Russia investigation; dig himself a deeper hole on Saudi Arabia [...]; and attempt to maintain the fiction that the China negotiations are going swimmingly.
[...] To recap, Trump has no discernible response to the tightly woven story of illegality from Mueller other than to rant like a lunatic while he is losing his grip on his party (at least the Senate) and heads into 2019 without the protection of the GOP House majority and with the potential for an economic slowdown.
Virtually all of these calamities result from the president's own conduct and ineptitude. Before Democrats start measuring the drapes for the Oval Office for 2021, they should nevertheless keep two things in mind. First, absent divine intervention, Republicans in the Senate will not remove Trump, meaning this will go on for another two years. And second, if Democrats in 2018 are [...] attacking one of their best candidates (Rep Beto O'Rourke) for being insufficiently socialist, then there is every possibility they can manage to lose in 2020.
In sum, things are getting more tumultuous by the day, but that's no guarantee we will be freed from Trump anytime soon.

“He risks being prosecuted after he leaves office,” she explained. “For that very reason, I would predict here on MSNBC that when Trump leaves office, he will resign the presidency 10 minutes before Mike Pence leaves office, allowing Pence to pardon him.”
Rubin may be the first person to propose a scenario in which Donald Trump ends up finding a way out of the trap Robert Mueller seemingly has him ensnared in, but many have predicted that the president will get impeached. [...] The most recent developments in Robert Mueller’s probes appear to have galvanized the Democrats, since the calls for Donald Trump’s impeachment are continuing to intensify....MORE: https://www.inquisitr.com/5202195/donald...impeached/
