Can You Delete Text Messages after You’ve Sent Them?

Here's some history behind Wiper's potential unavailability (if that's still the case).

Encrypted messaging app Wiper is shutting down (sort of)]: "In an email to users, the company behind Wiper says it wants to focus on a new app named FreshTeam, which has the same functionality as Wiper — but adds group calling: It has the same chat, calling and erase features as Wiper. Plus free group calling up to 100 people and optional location sharing."

I'm not sure the cluttered blurb for FreshTeam at Download even emphasizes that particular function being subsumed under the FreshTeam app. But I guess that doesn't necessarily mean it's not part of it: FreshTeam for iPhone

Everything about "Privates" seems to date back to 2016, so I assume it probably went belly-up, too. Trying to find an actual install location going nowhere.

"A new messaging app lets you take back messages after they've been sent - but only if the recipient hasn't read them yet. The clever feature, which will be a godsend to drunk texters and clumsy-fingered folk everywhere, is one of many built in to Privates, a messaging app now available for the iPhone."

"We've all had that moment when we wish we could "unsend" a text message. Now, the Privates app strives to provide people with this opportunity."

I know, right? It happens all the time. I can't believe that there's not one. Here's a text that's very similar to mine.

LOL. At least when related events like this happen we can be relieved by the healthy sign that kids nowadays are still repulsed / horrified by glimpsing their parents' sex life. What an alarming trip into weirdo-kink Glenn Quagmire apprehensions and antiquated Freudian obsessions is if they weren't!
