Despite all the years of cable and satellite, it did seem weird that the majority of the public had become oblivious to the continued existence of over-the-air broadcast television. Especially in light of even the weaker shows of the latter yet often pulling in higher ratings than what the best of cable programming had to offer (if not the accolades and celebrated attention given to uncensored fare). Those indoor antennas won't work well in outlying town and rural areas, though, that are far from the transmitter. Takes an outdoor one mounted on high.
