To Take Something at Face Value is a Lie

8. What is the "I"-object?

a. The "I"-object is an assumed entity that results from identification of Awareness, which is real, with the "I"-concept, which is unreal. The "I"-object seems to exist, but clear seeing shows that it does not.
b. You are not an object and You do not exist--You are Reality (Awareness).

Only the object is there and this is the misunderstanding of reality that results from concept and thought (to conjure concepts), there is no imagination nor entity that has it, you do not exist. You are an object thusly or a concept that takes no existence, not simply is it smoke and fire, it has not existence, it is not substance, only mockery, it is therefore non-existent. Hence, it can neither be confirmed nor denied. Seen nor unseen. Sniffed nor unsniffed. Thought nor "unthought". It is neither here nor there, is nor is not. It is matter not object, therefore Holy, not cannibalistic. He who only perceives 5 objects with 5 senses can no longer see one, neither object nor concept, but real. Please refer to below (quoted from the CTMU):

Quote:The real universe has always been theoretically treated as an object, and specifically as the composite type of object known as a set. But an object or set exists in space and time, and reality does not. Because the real universe by definition contains all that is real, there is no "external reality" (or space, or time) in which it can exist or have been "created". We can talk about lesser regions of the real universe in such a light, but not about the real universe as a whole. Nor, for identical reasons, can we think of the universe as the sum of its parts, for these parts exist solely within a spacetime manifold identified with the whole and cannot explain the manifold itself. This rules out pluralistic explanations of reality, forcing us to seek an explanation at once monic (because nonpluralistic) and holistic (because the basic conditions for existence are embodied in the manifold, which equals the whole). Obviously, the first step towards such an explanation is to bring monism and holism into coincidence.

I would define 'lie' as a falsehood, told knowingly with intention to mislead.

So I don't see how taking something at face value could possibly be a lie.

Taking things at face value might occasionally be a mistake, as in the case of illusions.

But mistakes aren't lies.

Your definition is incomplete. A lie can be seen as a face/ facade behind which the truth hides.

The fictional part of awareness is the 'I'-object, which makes one believe that one exists. In Nirvana, which means "blow out", the identification with the unreal part of awareness, namely the 'I'-object, goes extinct. But it is extremely difficult to achieve this. It requires an intense familiarization with the structure of the 'I'-object. Which is that of a circle with a dot in the center. The dot represents essence and the circle is representative of self-protective, egoic activity. This may only help in visualization of the 'I'-object however, extinction requires thorough proof of its falsehood.

Proceed with caution. The Actual Freedom website claims that there is no God and that there is an external reality to the brain. And that death is the end of life, since we are distinct entities. It is unknown how factual these claims are. But seeing as how I have had two PCE's, the experience upon which confirmation of the website's claims rest, I'm a bit nonplussed as to the veracity of a Godless universe or anyone making the claim that they know of such things.

Edit: The Actual Freedom website expressly states that Quantum Mechanics is imaginary. An evil genius attempting to deceive the masses appears to fit the bill.
