The power of suggestion, the subtle dropping of a hint? I love it, that feeling when you're fairly certain someone has picked up on your word.

I can’t see myself spending too much time there.  It takes forever to load.  I tried to answer another question this morning and finally gave up. If there’s a problem here, Stryder is easily accessible.  I love that.

Thanks for asking.  I had a good time.  One of them backed out at the last minute.  She always does.  We spent the day at the coast to escape the heat.  Walked around the shops, had lunch at an Italian restaurant, and then walked it off on a trail along the beach.

There’s this one bench that has the best view, but there was a couple of homeless guys sitting there.  I said, come on, who cares, let’s just go sit by them.  She said, are you friggin serious?  Yeah, why not?  I didn’t really give her a choice.  I just walked over there.  They were pretty interesting.  I could tell that she was really uncomfortable, though.  As we walked off, she said, you’re friggin crazy, girl.  I told her that you can find out something interesting about almost anyone, if you ask the right questions.  She just rolled her eyes at me.  She's funny, though.

She loves to shop.  I hate it, but I wanted her to enjoy the day, as well.  She looked and touched every single thing in the store.  She knows all the brand names and was considering spending $281.00 for a pair of really ripped up jeans.  She asked me what I thought.  I told her that they were ugly and I wouldn’t think she was a better person for owning them.  She’s always competing with the one who backed out—the unreliable one.  I’m outdoorsy, and she’s not, but she is a good tit for tat friend.  She’ll do day hikes with me, but I’ve yet to convince her to do an overnight backpacking trip.  I’m working on it, though.  Next up—kayaking, yay!

It’s taken me a long time to find friends that will tolerate me.  Most of them are religious and I’m the same in person as I am online.

I’ll try to take a look at that topic a little later, if the damn thing ever loads.
