Before season seven bows at 8 p.m. Sunday, you may want to stop in at a neighborhood store and stock up on some special spirits to help you celebrate.
A recently released trio of "Game of Thrones" wines — a chardonnay, red blend and top-shelf cabernet sauvignon - from HBO and Vintage Wine Estates can be found in many H-E-B stores in the San Antonio area as well as several local wine and liquor shops.
As fans know all too well, the characters on “Thrones” drink lots and lots of wine. They’re always barking “Drink!” at each other as they raise large goblets. So what better way to take in the penultimate season of the drama than to pour a glass or two of these “Thrones” varieties.
H.E.B. carries all three varieties in 22 of its San Antonio area stores. Customers can request it if their store doesn’t stock the wine, a company spokeswoman said."
