Family first but wouldn't business people and politicians follow? Wonder what would happen if the intelligent went off by themselves, ignoring the lesser intelligent? Where do you draw the line between the two?

Maybe with the ongoing development of genetics, the future will allow for aborting the unborn not equipped with the intelligence gene, whatever that might be or if there is one. I only say this because my niece who is pregnant is about to undergo a test to see if her fetus has an undesirable genetic defect. If so then you know what happens next. People demand perfection so who knows where that may lead with respect to intelligence.

I would condone sterilization long before elective abortion. At the point of abortion, you've already failed...and will continue needing to kill human life (scientific definition), because the stupid will not magically stop getting pregnant.

But we're supposed to accept diversity as a virtue, right?

Sounds like the perfect totalitarian police state. You'd probably feel right at home there, hunting down and arresting teen girls for future sterilization. They might even let you do the bloody deed yourself. You'd love that wouldn't you?

I'm afraid you let a personal bias affect your judgement. This failing has caused you to intentionally select part of the statement made, thus eliminating its context. Then to add ad homs to complete an ill conceived insult. Unfortunate, somewhat reminiscent of infantile behavior. I thought you clamoured for support of your ideas, what gives?

I read the context. It's what he said.

Perhaps you have a more flowery justification for state mandated sterilization of women? I mean let's call it what it is: the mutilation of a woman's body against her will.

LOL! Who said anything about "state mandated" or even tried to justify "mandated sterilization of women"? Rolleyes

This is the epitome of a straw man...one you've erected to attack instead of what was actually said. Your simple-minded straw man completely neglects the context that it was a comparison (between elective abortion used in lieu of birth control and elective sterilization used for the same purpose), and only YOU added the "state mandated" bit. So you must secretly or subconsciously want to be the totalitarian.

But I guess you'd much prefer stupid women repeatedly having to experience abortion...not to mention all the killing of pesky human life. You just keep proving how truly despicable you really are.

You're a liar. No women are going to electively sterilize themselves. The only way that happens is state-mandated.

Certainly not if abortion can be used as an alternative birth control. Hence, stupid people not being smart enough to employ actual birth control...and your seeming defense of killing human life in lieu of birth control. Disgusting. Would you also condone drowning puppies in lieu of spaying/neutering? O_o

Elective abortion of unconscious fetuses is a hell of a lot better than state mandated sterilization. At least free choice is preserved.

Again, who said anything about "state mandated sterilization"...you know, aside from YOU. O_o

Oh, I get it, you think everything must, or should, ultimately come down to state mandate....because you like the idea of being ruled by authoritarians and having no personal responsibility.
