If you want to see cool things, go to
http://www.spacex.com
and snoop around. Lots of amazing things, including live webcasts of launches. There's one scheduled for 1:25 PDT today, Sunday June 25, at Vandenberg AFB in California, a Falcon 9 launching an Iridium communications satellite. Then they will attempt a landing of the booster on a barge in the Pacific.
Here's Elon Musk taking you on a detailed tour of his spaceship plant (love the sound of that) everything from reception areas to computer servers to office cubicles to snack bar to machine shop to thermal testing to rocket engine assembly.

Here's the June 19 launch of a Bulgarian geosynchronous satellite from Cape Canaveral and the successful landing of its Falcon 9 booster on a barge in the Atlantic. Apparently this was a reflight of a booster that flew previously. Worked great the second time too.
