Aptly named. I guess there’s a music genre for everyone. Didn’t do anything for me but I’m old.

Too many chefs spoil the broth but unfortunately only one bad brick required for a wall to collapse. The guy reminded me Maynard G Krebs, a beatnik with a drum and cymbal beat that sounded eerily close to a two year old’s toy drum set. That’s for a song vocalized so slowly that a couple generations of fruit flies could have evolved in the time it took to sing it.

I found her painfully hard to listen to but that’s when I realized my earplugs were pushing against my eardrum. I removed them and it hurt even more. She sings like someone who has the jewellery that’s thru her nose being constantly pulled. She’s not bad looking but is there anything else that can take your eyes off a person or lose concentration, than gazing at a ring through the nose. She hangs onto notes like a lovesick cicada and by the time she finishes my breakfast toast has popped.

I watched another video of them playing a song called Divine. Sounded similar to this one. I think she could do better without the guy but it’s probably love that keeps them together.

Kim Lachance. She's Canadian, on the French side I think, possibly based in Montreal, but I wouldn't want to bet on it. (Vaguely recall an old video somewhere of her singing in French at a music festival in Montreal.)

I stumbled on her site two or three years ago when it was just starting up and thought it was a rare, chance opportunity to follow the development of a YouTube musician from the very beginning.

Never expected her to begin writing and composing her own music and making professional videos for it (she was only doing covers back then). But she's hardly new to the industry; a decade or more ago she had blonde hair and was singing for a different band, based on footage on another YouTube site I later stumbled upon that has been abandoned for years.

She usually doesn't wear a nose-ring. I don't why so many late Millennial and Zoomer artists still wear bling when it's so '80s and '90s. In her case, though, she has an interest in '90s music (has done several solo covers from that era).

Her other band members (like that guy "Scott", if there are more) usually aren't in the same city, apparently collaborating long distance.

She has another song (circa 4 months ago) that uses Emily Dickinson's poem "I'm Nobody" as the lyric. Trivial coincidence of a sort, since I once set that poem to an animated GIF avatar some years back.

Hard to make out every word, and I couldn’t find the lyrics, but I like it. I also liked the other one that you plugged in.
