I met this very wealthy, well-known, extremely eccentric older man yesterday. I’ve heard really strange stories about him. One was that he buried a very expensive car just because the battery was dead.  And you know me, my curiosity always get's the best of me.  He owns and operates a bar out of his home.  A local shopkeeper said that there’s always a crowd of interesting older women hanging around there.  She said that they were really fun and very interesting.  She told me that the only way to know if it’s open is if the red light is blinking, but I couldn’t be sure because the sun was so bright.  I drove up to check it out.  Three older men were out front.  They said it was open and to come on in.  I didn’t see one single female. It was all men, which was a little intimidating, to say the least. They said that all the women usually show up on Saturday. So, they come on Friday. There was so many odd things about the place and the patrons.   There’s really no words to describe how weird it was.  It was over the top. They showed me around and told me all the about the local history.  I had one drink, and in that short period of time, the owner invited me to move in with him.  They asked me if I’d come back.  I told them that I might, if I could be bring a few girlfriends with me.  They said that we could drink for free…winked…and said Agwa de Bolivia with a dash of absinthe.  I’m not a big drinker.  I had to look that one up when I got home.

Yeah, I don’t think I’ll be returning anytime soon.  Confused

It reminded me of this little ditty that you posted years ago.  That was you that posted it, right?  I'm not sure.  It may have been Hertz.

In Europe a red light means 'brothel' - is the US different? *I don't think so*

No, not in this case.  Years ago, he wanted to be the fire chief.  They wouldn’t let him so he built his own fire station.  His equipment was so much better than theirs that they had to start calling him for assistance.  It’s a red fire truck light.

I'm off for another adventure.  Lord only knows what kind of trouble I'll get myself into today.  Big Grin

Jesus!  You're actually listening to that last one?  What are you, like 12 or something?  Well, that might explain a lot.  Oh my god, I'm so embarrassed.  I've probably been arguing with a minor. Blush

Snob.

Oh, I get it. You're just a moron who thinks an animated music video must be for kids. After all, I've posted Chvrches before without you getting insulting over someone's music tastes.

If you want to talk about music for 12-year-olds: https://www.scivillage.com/thread-2621-p...l#pid10202

Funny how you didn't say something similar about the songs I posted from actual cartoons. Rolleyes
