Number one on my Halloween list is the song Black Sabbath by Black Sabbath. I had the album and although I liked some Heavy Metal it really wasn't my first love for music. Chose this version because the lyrics are onscreen also. Theres also a good vid of Ozzie Osborne and the group singing this live at a concert and the people were going nuts but couldn't find it..

Sorry I don't know how to just post the vid so here's my link

There are two ways to embed it in a post.

Above your text area, click the video icon (the one that looks like a filmstrip) and when the "box" appears, paste the video URL into the applicable slot. Then set the Video Type to "Youtube" (if that's where it's from). Then press the Insert button.

The second way is DIY. Type the following BB code where ever you want it (usually a blank line after your message is finished). And paste the URL exactly in the space between the two bracketed opening and closing tags. If you accidentally insert the URL within either of the two bracket sets, it won't work.

Code:
[video=youtube] [/video]

You can preview it as many times as you need to, and also can go back and edit the post for up to 24 hours if something still went haywire.

Though the page URL will probably work for Youtube videos much of the time, to get the exact URL right-click the video and when the menu box appears, click "copy video URL".

Yeah, she sings from the heart.

"While riding her bicycle in Philadelphia in November 2003, Gardot was struck by an SUV and sustained head, spinal, and pelvic injuries. Confined to a hospital bed for a year, she needed to relearn simple tasks and was left oversensitive to light and sound. Suffering from short- and long-term memory loss, she struggled with her sense of time.

Encouraged by a physician who believed music would help heal her brain, Gardot learned to hum, then to sing into a tape recorder, and eventually to write songs.

For several years, she traveled with a physiotherapist and carried a transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulator to reduce pain.

Given her oversensitivity to sound, she chose quieter music. On the treadmill, she listened to bossa nova by Stan Getz, specifically "The Girl from Ipanema". Unable to sit comfortably at the piano, she learned to play guitar on her back. During her recovery, she wrote songs that became part of the self-produced EP Some Lessons: The Bedroom Sessions. Gardot was reluctant to record her songs at first, stating that they were too private for the public to hear, but relented and allowed her songs to be played on a Philadelphia radio station."

She teamed up with Sting last year. The duet was pretty good.

Number four on the Halloween list. #3 was here (check out the excellent offerings by others in between): https://www.scivillage.com/thread-2918-p...l#pid46439

I think this one is (hopefully) akin to the edited version played on alt-rock stations during the latter half of the '90s. The intro cut-out and the internal order of syllables maybe scrambled on certain parts.

Remember Al Bundy (Married with Children)? The theme of his favourite TV show and in keeping with the Halloween theme this month....

Won't let me post video... lyrics censorship at work I guess. The word Psycho must not make it thru someone's filter...idk Here's the link...
