I didn't say consciousness is reducible to physics, that's not at all what the thread title question is asking.

Do you believe that consciousness has a direct correlation or tie to our physical world? I believe it does. That is where I was going with this thread, but how much of that can be explained by science is yet to be agreed upon by anyone.

Correlation? Sure. The physical world and consciousness do interact and coexist. Causation? No evidence to confirm it does.

Depends. Did you decide which definition of "consciousness" you were talking about? If just observed conscious behavior, rather than experienced awareness, of course it does, since observable physical behavior relies on functioning physiology.

I suspect you may be equivocating.
