EXCERPT: Love your cell phone a little too much? While previous studies have questioned the health risks of being glued to your mobile device, recent findings published in the journal Pathophysiology show that for some users, there may be a higher risk of developing a specific type of brain tumor.
For the study, researchers compared 1,380 patients with malignant brain tumors to those without malignant brain tumors and looked for correlations in their cell phone use. They discovered that those who used cell phones for 20 to 25 years were about twice as likely to be diagnosed with the brain tumor known as glioma when compared to those who were not as "addicted" to their technological devices....
