Obama was responsible for many death worldwide... and actually was the one who put "children in cages." I never heard you have any qualms with that. And you thinking I "worship" anyone is still your TDS speaking. I don't think Trump is infallible or beyond reproach, as I've criticized him before. I'm just not a pantywaist whining about someone being "not nice." 9_9

No your a pantywaist that whines about everyone that doesn't agree with Israel as being antisemite  Rolleyes
You think that's pantywaist and whining, huh? Yeah, if I were an antisemite who couldn't even tell what is or isn't, I would probably be making similar desperate claims to deflect too.

Notice how you can only deflect, instead of addressing any of the actual points made. 9_9

Quote:As for Trump, his new statement is "He would" pay $5,000 to all Americans if Republicans win the midterm.
As opposed to democrats buying votes with welfare, that only benefits their own voters. At least Trump is willing to help everyone equally... as long as he retains enough power in congress to do so.

Quote:Further to that it's suppose to be spent on US produce (made in the US) although the costs of policing that would require some serious deep state shit to keep an eye on.
He said "in the Unites States of America," not on US products. Not hard to enforce:

Instead of mailing physical paper checks or distributing standard direct deposits, the federal government could issue the $5,000 dividend via specialized prepaid debit networks (similar to disaster relief or EBT cards). These cards can be programmatically hardcoded to block international merchant category codes (MCCs), foreign transaction processing, and wire transfers.

Quote:Currently it's not a pledge, because that would require that to be placed into writing and signed as an actionable occurrence should the result come in. instead he's left it as a "Maybe", so the likelihood is that if they got through the midterm he'll just backtrack on it since it won't matter to him, he'll just ride out his term.
Trump has kept all the campaign promises that haven't thwarted by lawfare, insufficient majorities in congress, etc.. But if it makes you feel better to make up lies about it being a "maybe".... 9_9

Quote:I'd concern myself with what that $5,000 would go to.  I mean that's a lot of weapons and ammunition that can be purchased by all sorts of people (including the unhinged)  While I know the US respects the concept that people should have the right to bear arms, I would question just how many a person needs as an individual and the purpose of buying so many.
Well, you have to think Americans are doing very well economically, to assume many would spend it on guns and ammo. You know, ignoring the gross and ignorant stereotyping. Of course you would question the necessity. You don't even comprehend having such rights. Unless you have a "good reason," you can't even carry a butter knife in the UK. LOL!

Quote:Further to that there is the implication that an increase in "revenue" to all Americans would lead to an increase in inflation (So don't expect the federal reserve to budge on inflation), that $5,000 although a "gift" would also be likely taxable if coming from public money.
Of course it would be taxable. And?

To be clear, I'm not personally in favor of the government giving people money. I much prefer that they simple don't take as much in the first place. But if Democrats are always trying to influence elections with promises of free stuff, it's hypocritical to only whine and moan about a Republican doing so.

But you just go on twisting yourself in knots over your widdle TDS.

Theres other points missed too in regards to spending.

For instance one figure has it at $1.3 Trillion to cover the US in it's entirety, thats a lot of money he's got to suddenly get from somewhere.

Another point is the global value of the USD. If suddenly a bunch of cash is release to a whole bunch of people what will it do to the currency overall?

Further to that there is then the problem of "Money doesn't grow on trees". In the real world people slog all manner of hours to make ends meet, suddenly having hand outs is just going drive the problem that successive governments are going to have to be ready to pay people in the same manner. So it's not just the $1.3 Trillion now... it's that every 2-4 years from now on.

This isn't so much TDS as you put it as just basic economics, something Trump doesn't understand because he's always had too much and doesn't have many people telling him NO!

Apparently that didn't register with you because it doesn't fit your bigoted stereotype. If you weren't TDS and whining about it, you could manage to make an actual argument why one party should avoid bribing the voters while the other does it freely.

But go ahead, keep proving your TDS.

Perhaps it's because I'm not a Democrat.

Another point to people being promised money... I'm pretty sure that some thugs can be hired to bump people off for less than $5k so hypothetically if Trump decided not to pay certain people who expected $5k, he might well cause them to want to do something in retaliation since to them thats $5k they should have been paid.

I guess I'm trying to point out that there is a myriad of reasons why it's a bad idea generally, however It's you're country Syne filled with outliners that only voted Trump to watch the country burn, you're right I should give a stuff about the place.

So you didn't actually watch or read what Trump actual said, huh? @_@
He said every adult American. So no one left out.

And just more TDS nonsense about the most patriotic Americans somehow wanting to "watch the country burn." Quit projecting from a country much closer to burning.

I'm trying to work out if you are trying to brainwash people with that TDS nonsense or if you've only brainwashed yourself.

TDS means you're already brainwashed. Too bad nothing I can say/do can deprogram you.
