Thinking about a sighting in the 1950s .. glowing spheres putting on a show with no apparent means of propulsion and no apparent inertia. The only thing I can think of is that they are a projection of some sort .. like a hologram but much, much better. They were real, they were alien, but they weren't actually 'here'. Suggests otherworldlings might not be doing anything here because they can't .. projections (whatever) have only a limited ability to interact.

Might be true for some of them, although it calls into question why project a mere hologram of a craft. But for many others we have distinct physical effects such as radiation burns on victims, engine failures in automobiles, circular markings in fields of grass where they have landed, and detectable targets picked up on radar and sonar and FLIR and IR. |
