Years ago, when I was trying to organize a revolution..
A crazy person pointed out that what I needed was stupid people .. they'll believe anything and can be manipulated into becoming loyal foot soldiers .. wearing the hat and spreading the message. Crazy people are just .. well .. crazy.

Who is Arielle Scarcella?

"She's a transphobic grifter who became right-wing because her channel was dying and she needed a new audience to revitalize it. Much like Tucker Carlson I think she probably does not truly believe half the insane conspiratorial shit that comes out of her mouth, but she needs the views, money, and attention. This doesn't make her any less despicable. She has me blocked on twitter because I tweeted something not-so-positive about her, so she obviously name searches herself constantly since I didn't tag."

Apparently she started the channel in 2009 and was a popular influence in the LGB community until she started overtly distancing from the T+ segment of the alphabet (not unlike J.K. Rowling sin, but insider rather than outsider). Since the 1970s, "radical feminists" are often intense lesbians and, thereby, eventually tend to depart from trans-adoring mainstream feminism. Because they're devoted to biological women and consider the whole history of the struggle to be a joke if men can acquire membership or, alternatively, women can simply switch to male membership. I.e., current mainstream feminism renders "woman" into a superficial identity anyone can adopt, which retro-revisionally undermines it ever deserving passionate focus as a major victim category. (Though that doesn't take into account that transitioning had major negative consequences back in the old days -- was not easy to do.)

Arielle’s influence within the LGBT community declined during the last year, following her negative comments about trans people. In a video of February 2020, she also publicly announced that she doesn’t want to be affiliated with the leftist movement. ‘Anyone who goes against the grain and thinks for themselves is immediately outcast. That’s not a community that’s a hive mind cult… I no longer want to be associated with the ridiculously woke left.’, she said.

Arielle is known for strong influence on the LGBT+ community while incorporating her humorous nature into her videos. She regularly does collaborations with many other LGBT YouTubers, including: ElloSteph, BriaAndChrissy, and Hartbeat. However, as of 2020, her influence within the LGBT+ community has drastically declined due to her comments about transgender people. She then started collaborating with conservatives, Centrists and right-wing commentators such as Sydney Watson, SLIGHTLY OFFENSIVE, Gavin McInnes, Blaire White and StevenCrowder.

No fallacy...just a transphobic grifter getting all the added followers and views such a volatile issue tends to garner. Just like Rowling does trying to stay relevant and in the news cycle.

So you think she's just lying about what she thinks of transgenders?

Belatedly .. going back to the OP and why Bill Maher isn't a Republican..
My guess is that cage fighting on the Whitehouse lawn says it all. For Trump and Republicans it makes a lot of money and a lot of people like it. Others (Democrats?) will be wondering what kind of swamp America has fallen into. Maybe you can't see it .. maybe I'm just plain wrong .. but that's my guess.
