His contractual obligations are over. No longer a requirement to accommodate the corporate gaslighting agenda.

VIDEO EXCERPTS: Well, he finally admitted it that nobody was watching his Doctor Who. We knew this as it was going along. There was a big gaslighting campaign against fans. saying it was all fine, which I'll remind you of when we get into his quote here.

I can't believe Ncuti Gatwa actually said this on Saturday Night Live (UK). It is everything we ever said. And it shows that his frustration, even with the terrible writing, was probably why he left the show to begin with.

[...] They called us toxic. they said we were trolls, etc. When we were just talking about this show that they're spending a gillion dollars on. Their special effects with their Disney budget that they suddenly have, and then they just skimp on the writing. And then do this crazy identity politics crap that's just really painful to for anybody to watch, from Russell T. Davies.

And Russell T. Davies really ruined Doctor Who on this. So here, Gatwa was taking the mask off.

Now, when he was on the show, he was doing the same thing that they always do with the marketing campaigns. Saying he was a victim of harassment, etc. And that viewers were racist. He did this upfront.

So, what's he saying now? He hosted SNL UK's season finale on May 16th and opened his monologue by doing what Russell T. Davies never would, telling the truth about his Doctor Who tenure.

He said, "I've had so many fantastic roles in my career. Millions of you watch me as Eric in Sex Education. Then about 12 of you watch me in Doctor Who. Maybe that's why I kept crying."

Wow. I mean, you know, that's supposed to be funny, but that's pretty dang passive aggressive in shots fired right there. Only 12 people watched Doctor Who, and I was 11 of them, [laughter] so I could review it on the channel here. And this is exactly what we were saying the whole time.

The reviews the show and and the ratings were terrible. Now, if you remember this, BBC ran this gaslighting campaign saying that the numbers of the overnights and all that looked bad, but there's a lot of people who are watching on their iPlayer streaming app, right? And and those aren't counted yet. And that's going to come in later and it's going to show the real story. They did this for the entirety of his two seasons. Just kept telling us that these numbers were fine, that they were not going down, that people didn't understand the real deal, that the youth demographic was coming in and watching this.

We knew it wasn't true. [laughter] Nobody was watching this show. And now it's obvious.

[...] and it's very interesting to me that Gatwa also says maybe that's why I kept crying. Again, that was a big part of the show that puzzled everybody: Why is the doctor crying all the time? It's an emasculation of the character, and that's part of what made it feel so bad. So you know that's a criticism of the writing from Gatwa himself.

Then he actually said, "Even though I have since regenerated into Billy Piper, I don't understand it, either." And that is another evisceration of this entire situation. I don't understand it, either. He didn't understand the writing. He didn't understand what was going on with it. It was a jumbled plot mess. None of it made sense.

And that's what we were saying the entire time. It's like this does not feel like a Doctor Who adventure, where it's science fiction, where they're actually thoughtfully making these plots and figuring them out into something special and the like. No, it was quite the opposite...
