Yes, drug dealers can be sentenced to death in some jurisdictions, particularly in the United States for large-scale trafficking of specific drugs and in other countries like China, where it is used more frequently for drug offenses. However, no death row prisoner in the U.S. has been executed for drug trafficking alone, though it remains a possible punishment for offenses involving a very large quantity or value of drugs or for continuing criminal enterprises.

Just as I said.

Some people have very short memories, and don't remember that the death penalty is about "drug-induced homicide," as a result of drug smuggling. No one ever said it was drug smuggling alone. But you'd have to be able to read what is actually written to know that. 9_9

Hypothetical points:
Quote:An encoded message is sent for drugs to be delivered through a cartel source, destination US.
Bitcoins are sent in advance for some of the cost to get the shipment moved.
The boat gets blown up.
If a government was to utilize it's seized bitcoins to trigger drug purchases so as to target the vessels when they are sent, it would technically be entrapment.
Quote:A Cartel enlists the help of a local fisherman by kidnapping their family at gunpoint to do the job of making a delivery in the fishermans boat.
The boat the fisherman is using get targetted by the US Navy and blow to smithers (possibly with a double tap) all lives lost.
The Cartel kills the family as they are no use now as hostages.
The question is when there is victims involved or victims of collateral damage.

You'd have to trace the particular drug that someone overdosed on and died from all the way back to a particular smuggler and even then only arrest him and prosecute him. That's not ever gonna happen. Again, you can't kill smugglers just for smuggling drugs any more than you can kill pushers just for pushing drugs.

Again, you can kill enemy combatants trying to smuggle chemical weapons into the US. If you don't think so, you don't care about American lives. Period.

Show me a list of chemical weapons with fentanyl on it. Fentanyl isn't a chemical weapon. It's a sold product meeting a high demand.
And you can no more kill a drug smuggler for a hypothetical future drug overdose than a gun seller can be killed for selling a gun to a person who hypothetically commits suicide with it later on. Sorry Syne, you've run out stupid arguments to defend state-sponsored murder. Time to rethink your position.

Again, there are zero laws that allow the prosecution of a gun seller for any harm committed from a legally sold gun.
There are laws that allow drug dealers and smugglers to face the death penalty.
Ignorance of the law is no excuse. 9_9

There's no law allowing smugglers to be killed outright without a trial for the hypothetical future overdose of the drugs they are smuggling. None at all. That's insane. You're an idiot to even try arguing for it.
