INTRO: Carl Cannon talks with Larry Sanger, a co-founder of Wikipedia and Director of the Knowledge Standards Foundation - about his "Nine Theses on Wikipedia," and whether the site can find its way back to neutrality before a competitor steps in. ........ RELATED (scivillage): First beta version of Grokipedia

VIDEO EXCERPT: Larry, it's talked about that it's liberal bias, but to me, the problem's a little more profound than that. And this has nothing to do with Donald Trump. I began noticing this when I was covering the White House uh for the Baltimore Sun.
There was all this sort of wacky left-wing fringe stuff, like the Lyndon LaRouche people had put it up or something about Nazi arm sales. It was libelous, it was just inaccurate. It was misleading.
It's not what I wanted, and I thought boy, this thing is already off the rails.
A lot of people have come to this conclusion, but I have to ask you, because you have a very interesting idea how to fix it...
