Somebody carrying on about the "black aura" around the objects. I don't know enough about either old video editing apps or new AI ones to know whether that's a giveaway or not. The potential coup de grâce to video manipulation would be finding videos taken by others. Then it's back to atmospheric effects and mirages controversy.

Sources seem to keep referring to a single eyewitness and a single video. But I suppose the absence of other gawkers could as much mean people in Mallorca are usually too busy enjoying paradise on the ground to glance up at the sky periodically to see if Catholic angels are bringing it down.

Likely the Fata Morgana was only apparent from a particular vantage point. Hence the ground lights' orientation being the same.
