Is Bluesky really collapsing? (social media hobbies)

THE QUARTERING
https://youtu.be/5Z5YNwnkDRg

VIDEO EXCERPTS: . . . Here is somebody saying: "Jay, if someone gave you permission to call "everything Zen", they were wrong and you still need to apologize for cultural appropriation. Prove you will do better research and be less racist to Asians next time."

Jay: "I’m half Chinese, but the most tiresome type of person on here wants me to apologize to Asians for calling an anti-toxicity feature 'zen mode'."

Again, this [first comment] is in response to somebody who is already far-left, that is puzzled or upset about being rebuked for cultural appropriation due to saying "everything Zen", and even they are sick of their radical base's obsessive complaints.

That's what's happened to Bluesky.

Here's __###__ saying: "LMFAO, so the obnoxious users from Twitter went to Bluesky and now they're in open revolt, and threatening to leave Bluesky to a new service because the administration won't act even crazier for them."

Remember, Bluesky warned users not to celebrate Charlie Kirk's assassination after dozens of horrific messages were posted. That's because they were going to get removed from the Google Play Store and the Apple iTunes store for not moderating that stuff.

Now, I don't want Bluesky to go away because it's an incredible source for researching LEFToids.

[...] The platform itself is completely collapsing. And it's going to get worse, by the way. It dropped 50% by mid 2025. That is attributed to the platform becoming a politically homogeneous echo chamber where users with differing views are blocked, creating an unsustainable, depressing environment for many.

Unique users have fallen by over 50% from their peak in November 2024. Nobody wants an echo chamber. Bluesky's decline stems from never hearing from the other side. Bluesky user engagement has fallen over 50%. This is back in June. It's more than that now.

[...] Most obviously, it makes it hard for the platform to build a large enough user base for the company to become financially self-sustaining. or for liberals to amass the influence they once wielded on old Twitter.

There they accumulated power by shaping a continuous conversation that included a lot of non-progressives. On Bluesky, they're only talking among themselves.

You love to see it. Now they're turning on each other. The platform will probably be cooked by quarter end of next year. There'll be a handful of radical LEFToids on there. That'll be about it.

Just about everybody has either returned to X or left social media altogether...

Bluesky has collapsed: Woke ownerships turns on even more of their own. ... https://youtu.be/5Z5YNwnkDRg

I think everyone saw this coming. I mean, how engaging can a strictly moderated echo chamber be?

I guess it would depend on who or what the influence is and whether it's done properly. (I wouldn't know however since Social Networks to me currently are not something I engage in, mostly for avoiding hysteria and other internet-related diseases.)

Most "Popular" forums (as an example_ tend to require back and forth discussion, if it lacks the content of subject it's then only propped up by diatribe and banter.
If you have either the lack of content or tight moderation on how banter is made, then you have a system collapse.

Bluesky would be heavily dependent on Influencers to maintain subject matter and to keep away from being diatribe, but that would mean trying to utilise material thats usually found on Youtube or Tiktok to keep people Delta. (As in a different direction from the usual left-right, Alpha-betatch stuff!)
