Is Trump's naïve phase finally over with respect to Uke-Rus deal? (peace network)

VIDEO EXCERPTS: Yesterday, the Chinese foreign minister said that China could not allow Russia to lose the war because the United States would turn on them. I think the President is sort of now realizing that these guys don't want a deal. That there's a much bigger play at hand and has Trump finally decided to help the Ukrainians.

[...] Trump came into office saying, "I want a peace deal." He started talking to Putin. He started saying to Putin, "Oh, like we're going to have a timeout. You guys need to stop."

And Putin just kept blowing through the stop sign one after the other. That is Trump's created problem number one.

Number two, is this a real inflection point? I'm glad he now sees that we need to rearm Ukraine to defend themselves. Because I've been saying for the last two months Putin wants the whole enchilada. He wants Kiev; he wants all of Ukraine; and that was on the verge of happening on Trump's watch.

So I think Trump has backed off. [...] Trump wanted to make peace, wanted a deal, wanted to end the death and destruction. And I think he gave a lot of runway for Putin, who abused that trust and an opportunity over and over again.

I actually give Zelenskyy credit. I think Zelenskyy, after that Oval Office meeting realized: Okay, I'm going to try your way. And then constantly has reminded Trump: Hey, I've been doing what you've said, but here's what's going on.

And that's where we are now. I still think this is part of the ultimate negotiation, and this is what disappoints me about some of the folks in the MAGA movement, after President Trump showed them the way in Iran. [...] I think this is another attempt to bring Russia back to play ball, by giving Ukraine more weapons to defend themselves, and then maybe Putin comes back to the table...

Trump’s “Now realizing these guys don’t want a deal” for peace ... https://youtu.be/7PgwQvY3lKc

Europe and Biden probably emboldened Putin far too long, without pushing for Ukraine losing Crimea and Donbas. Now that Russia has a war economy, it may be too late to negotiate. Europe needs to step up and handle the lion's share of arming Ukraine. Better yet, offer troops to help.

It's a bit difficult to be late for negotiations, when there is no negotiations to be had. It's already been reported that Russia has been re-engaging with it's Soviet past and the brain washing of children in regards to who they should hate is something that's been made part of Russian curriculum. (Incidentally their "hate speech" should likely be seen as an Article 4 violation to NATO considering what its suggesting.)

Such admissions would not be done, If there was any intention in creating a peaceful solution.

Incidentally you should notice that Putin pushes Stalin in a "warm friendly" personification and Putin doesn't build statues of himself. The personification of Stalin can be thwart with lies through the propaganda engine turning, and if not countered and left for long enough it will become what Russians think is true.

If a statue of Putin was built, when he ceases to be in that position to dictate, they'd likely tear it down for all the lies and damage he's caused... at least until the next petty dictator climbs up on a pedestal and uses Putin personified as "Warm and Friendly" with their propaganda.

No negotiations to be had because Europe and Biden stalled for so long.
