Having not seen the uncut original, I have no idea if Jake Tapper was really "speechless" after this. It seems like every other video clip nowadays has a promo code of "Watch ___ be dumbfounded after ___ puts them in their place". It's a tiresome bromide, and 75% of the time neither the host slash interviewer nor the guest was having an attitude spell about anything.

You don't need to be vilifying the officers on the street, the ICE agents, and throwing rocks at their heads. [...] 48% of the border agents are Hispanic. They don't get a vote about this stuff. If people don't like the laws, change them.
