Straight Pride Parades/Festivals

Mardi Gras sure looks pretty gay.

Why does it matter if other people want to celebrate their own "lifestyle?"
SCOTUS just ruled that members of the majority are equally protected by the Civil Rights Act:

In a unanimous opinion authored by Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson, the US Supreme Court held that majority-group plaintiffs bringing “reverse discrimination” claims under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 are not required to show “background circumstances to support the suspicion that the defendant is that unusual employer who discriminates against the majority.” - https://www.mayerbrown.com/en/insights/p...tion-cases

But we all know how little you care about the equal application of the law:

Nobody really believes a 10% minority is oppressing and causing discrimination again a 90% majority. The history of the oppression of LGBT is a long and shameful one in which it as once outlawed, defined as a mental illness, condemned as perversion, denied the equal rights of marriage, targeted in hatecrimes, and subjected to widespread employment discrimination. How are straights being oppressed and discriminated against? What awful persecution is being inflicted on them because of their lifestyle? Straight pride is the typical reactionary attempt to play victims in a society where they have never been victims of anything. It suspiciously stinks of hatred much as proponents of white pride do.

Who said anything about anyone oppressing straights?
I was just talking about cities not being able to discriminate against other "lifestyle" parades.

But you didn't answer my question.
Why do straight parades matter to you? Do you have a problem with them?

Ofcourse I do. Just like most people do. It's the same reason white pride parades aren't popular.

You said "white pride" but none of those are "black pride." They are "black joy," "African American Day Parade," "Black Arts Festival," and "Black History Parade & Festival."
So again, you didn't answer the actual question.

What would be wrong with celebrating white joy, Anglo-American Day (variously celebrated as Oktoberfest, St. Patrick's Day, etc.), white arts festival, or European History parade & festival (again Oktoberfest, St. Patrick's Day, etc.)?

Or is it just that white folks are naturally more inclusive of other races and cultures in their own celebrations?

Not the same thing. "Black pride" stems from militant "black power." And if you don't recognize what that means, just reverse the race. Might give you a clue.
There's a reason people avoid the term "black pride." It has a lot of baggage.

So as usual, you're just a dumbfuck conflating different terms.

Again, you failed to answer another simple question: What would be wrong with celebrating white joy, Anglo-American Day (variously celebrated as Oktoberfest, St. Patrick's Day, etc.), white arts festival, or European History parade & festival (again Oktoberfest, St. Patrick's Day, etc.)?
See how these sound so much more innocuous than "white pride?"

Are these questions too complex for you... or just too inconvenient? @_@
