Donald Shitbag lies about Harris' airport crowd

Ah yes. Crowd size envy again. "Mine is bigger than yours?" What a petty insecure little fuck.

"Former President Donald Trump on Sunday falsely claimed Vice President Kamala Harris' campaign lied about a crowd attending her Aug. 7 rally in Detroit, Michigan. In a post on Truth Social, Trump said a photo of the crowd was created using artificial intelligence and that the crowd in fact "didn't exist."

However, numerous videos from the event at Detroit Wayne County Metropolitan Airport show a large crowd attended, and the videos show a crowd similar to the one seen in the photo. Local reporters for the news site MLive estimated 15,000 people were present as Air Force Two arrived."---

Trump's too stupid to fact check anything. Bear in mind this is the con artist that still claims he won the last election. Lying is just second nature to him. And his devoted sheep gobble it right up.

Elon and Trump just held a two hour conversation on X. Huge audience, 1.2 million live listeners on X (many more weren't able to get in because the X servers were overloaded) and more on other outlets like Rumble and Truth Social.

It was actually really good and very enlightening. Elon is nobody's fool and Trump held his own very well. The conversational format got Trump out of his campaign-speech mode and into explaining why he holds the positions he does. Very thoughtful and intelligent discussion, all in all. They hit many topics including the border, the economy and international affairs.

Elon takes the Red Pill and he and Trump challenge the Matrix:

The BBC had a look at the Trump/Musk chat..
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c0jpn2q76n1o

Trump: “The biggest threat is not global warming, where the ocean is going to rise one eighth of an inch over the next 400 years.”

Reality: In the decade 2014-2023, global average sea levels rose by an average of nearly 4.8mm per year (0.19in), according to the World Meteorological Organization.

Trump: “I think we have the worst inflation we've had in 100 years... bacon costing four or five times more than it did a few years ago”.

Reality: Inflation peaked at 9.1% under President Biden - the highest in 41 years, not 100. The average price for a pound of sliced bacon was $5.83 in January 2021 when Trump left office, according to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, external. It now costs $6.83.

I thought that the United States kicked Britain out of our domestic affairs back in the 18th century.

Quote:Trump: “The biggest threat is not global warming, where the ocean is going to rise one eighth of an inch over the next 400 years.”

Ok, one inch in 50 years, assuming those numbers are even halfway reliable. Hardly noticeable.

That doesn't detract from the point that President Trump was making: that the biggest civilization-endangering threat that we face right now is nuclear war. The fact that the BBC chose to ignore Trump's very defensible point and circle back to defending their own climate alarmism is more about their own political agenda than anything Trump was saying about America's role in an increasingly dangerous world.

It also ignores what Elon was saying. While contemporary climate alarmism is indeed bullshit, climate change arguably is a real longer-term issue that needs to be addressed. Hence Tesla's electric cars and Tesla Energy's huge battery packs to buffer demand on the electric grid. (It's hard to imagine anyone else on Earth doing more than Tesla in that regard.) And Trump agreed and had no problem with that.

They were actually making progress towards policy consensus there. The target they were criticizing was the crazy alarmism ("Earth on fire!" "Extinction level event!"), and the increasingly authoritarian edicts dictating how the public will be allowed by their masters to live their lives, supposedly all justified by the artificially-stoked fear and alarmism. They nevertheless agreed that growth in EVs is desireable, but the public needs to *want* to buy them (which is what Tesla is all about).

41 years or 100 years, the point that was being made still stands. The US government can't continue funding itself essentially by printing money, by running up the national debt. As long as we are talking about sustainability, the economy has to be sustainable too.

You have to take into consideration that those values are usually considered by people on a flat water body, however water in large bodies is effected by the moons gravitation, seizmic activity and wind. So water isn't always flat. That few millimetres of depth can become volumes during a storm (which we are having more of due to changes in atmospheric density and jet stream changes)

It's not the issue doesn't exist, it's just peoples differing beliefs in what can be done. Some think that huge changes need to be made (which invokes costs and requires sacrifices) while others realise that it's like holding back the tide, it's inevitable and we just need to continue striving to work our way around the situations as they develop.

While electric cars might be seen as the future, the problems of the amount of resources and the shear number of people that expect to have one due to blatent consumerism makes it more or less untenable. To be honest it likely increases instability around the world as countries are trying to rush to claim rights over mineral resources to honour their projected need for the minerals.

We really need to take a long hard realistic check at what is feasible.

Personally, when I'm in a store I experience a sense of disgust equivalent to as if _X_ product was 4 or 5 times higher, even if intellectually I know that it's not. Wink

So Trump is tapping into how people actually feel when looking at the prices in stores. Communicating with the proles rather than the bean-counters.

Tactics. Politics is a game, not a classroom test.

He'll still lose, though. The Establishment (MSM journalism, entertainment industry, academia, and progressive business sector) is an all-pervading machine that crushes non-Dems in its path, like vermin.

For instance, the entire 4th-season of the The Boys was an "in-your-face" anti-Republican allegory. Amazon Prime even had to change the title of the season-ending episode because it was originally titled "Assassination Run", and aired five days after the shootings at the Trump rally.

Can't beat the Establishment. When it has that red dot on a person or group's forehead, they're toast -- in one sense or another. Wink

Yeah, but anything that happens here affects them too. So they do have a vested interest in what goes on in the US.
But since it isn't reciprocal, we don't care what they think.
