The Cigarette Smoking Man really blew it this time around. But at least they didn't need a Jack Ruby for the patsy (took care of it on site).
The conspiracy theorist in me can't help thinking this:
"It will appear to be a solo crazy guy who acted alone.
But we all know the CIA or FBI and the deep state are behind this. They don't want Trump back in power because they know he is going to tear them apart."
"I was the Sniper Employment Officer for my battalion and led hundreds of combat missions. There were major security lapses in the security plan that allowed a shooter to engage President Trump from ~130 meters - an easy shot."
Accordingly to AP news, Crooks' father is believed to have bought the weapon sixth months ago (how the son obtained it is unclear -- stolen?). Bomb-making materials found in both Crooks' van and his home.
The Independent: "Crooks’ parents, Matthew and Mary Crooks, née Frizzi, are certified behavioral health counselors, according to state licensing records."
The profile leans more and more to yet another disturbed youth who wanted to go out killing people and making headlines. The Trump rally offering a "nearby", opportune event and a crowd to shoot at.

EXCERPTS: Former classmates of the suspected shooter, 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks, of Bethel Park, Pennsylvania, described him to ABC News as a student who was "quiet" and did not have many friends.
"He was somebody who came across as lonely a lot," said Jameson Myers, who said he attended both elementary and high school with Crooks.
Myers described him as "more socially reserved" and someone who "didn't have a ton of friends."
But he said he never heard Crooks discuss politics or, specifically, Donald Trump.
"I was friends with him. He never acted, like, by any means, a political revolutionary," Myers said. "Was a very nice, even sweet guy, from what I knew."
Another classmate, Zoe Materkowski, said he was "just a quiet kid."
Added Jason Kohler, a classmate: "He was a loner. He would sit alone at lunch."
Classmate Robert Abraham described him as "smart" and "kind."
[...] There were what "appeared" to be explosives in the suspect's car, which was parked outside the Trump rally, two sources told ABC News. One source said they looked like grenades, but the sources said they were awaiting forensic results about whether the items are actually explosives.
A little off topic, but I need help debunking this because my family wants me to give in to our Lord and Savior. It’s a prophet that predicted this 3 months ago. I checked with ChatGPT to see if someone can alter the date of the YouTube video posted to make it look older than it is…you can’t.
What should I say? "Even a broken clock is right twice a day."

VIDEO EXCERPT: They were bringing forth a new patriotism upon the nation, and it was coming, it was being birthed, and it just kept spreading like fire all throughout America. And I saw Trump rising up, and then I saw an attempt on his life -- that this bullet flew by his ear. And it came so close to his head that it busted his ear drum. I saw him fall to his knees during this time frame, and he started worshiping the Lord. He got radically born again during this time frame. People say he's saved now, but he becomes really on fire for Jesus for what I saw coming...
Coincidences happen. If you have enough YouTubers making a variety of prophecies, then somebody's going to eventually nail one, or get very close to it.
Hopefully they're exploiting it for all it's worth. Trump certainly would be if he knew about it.

Note that I'm not absolutely ruling out Transcendent Intervention in the Machine, but there's always (or usually) a natural explanation for an _X_.
Yeah, I even checked to see how many comments were made before this happened. There were quite a few that were made months ago.
Sometimes, with all the coincidences, the world does feel a little simulationey. I hope it’s not because I’m terrible at video games. I can’t even steer a car in one. If a big earthquake happens near Tulsa, Ok, like he said, I’m running back to church.
There are also other crazy conspiracies going around about some guy name Vincent Fusca, who is sitting behind trump in the stands, and doesn’t even flinch. The only thing I can find on him is some crazy idea that he’s JKF Jr. Who is he, do you know?
“Joe Biden sent the orders,” Representative Mike Collins of Georgia wrote on X in reference to a recent call Biden held with donors, when he reportedly said, “It’s time to put Trump in a bull’s-eye.” The representative’s post has been viewed 5.7 million times according to the platform’s own metrics.
Meanwhile, Sean Davis, the founder of the right-wing website The Federalist, claimed the shooting was part of a Democrat-led plot to take Trump out. “They knew Biden couldn’t win so they incited one of their toadies to try and take out his opponent.”

Yah, multiple accounts of people claiming to be THE Vincent Fusca. But it's the one from Pittsburg who does regularly attend Trump rallies.
He's supposedly a financial services manager who is now circa 42 years old. (Too young for JFK Jr.)
He's amused by his specious (Kennedy identity) fame, and good-naturedly poses for photographs.
Obviously a Trump adherent.
Avoids interactions with the press, and giving them any information, as much as possible.

Much points to Crooks just being another non-conspiratorial, mundane shooter with social problems. Who wanted to garner headlines as a famed killer in course of self-annihilating. The luck of having a Trump rally in the vicinity just meant the bonus of global attention.
