Brand new Tesla drives itself out of the Austin Texas factory and proceeds to deliver itself to a customer a 30 minute drive away on the other side of Austin. All with no human aboard!
This is the world's first autonomous delivery of a car. Expect to see more of this in the future as Teslas deliver themselves to customers autonomously. The technology appears to be ready, but it will take a while for motor vehicle laws to catch up. (Austin is a world leader in authorizing autonomous vehicles to operate legally on its roads.)
