Yeah, but why muscle loss?

In addition to muscle wasting, it certainly doesn't help to have conditions like aortic stenosis and others that can decrease blood flow to the brain and cause semi-dizziness. Curiously, loss of linkage between nerves and muscle can contribute to muscle loss. Not something I even considered in the past as fading in the elderly like so many other bodily agencies.

Indeed, weak nerve signaling to command muscle contraction is something that makes sense as being quite involved in muscle loss, yet can easily be missed as a factor.  I also didn't think of how low blood flow can lead to muscle wasting. It takes a lot of energy and nutrients to maintain muscle mass.
