How Marlon Brando changed Hollywood forever..

Fortunately, memories of Brando's 1950s performances is what seemed to have had icon impact on the 1970s actors influenced by him.

With the exception of something like "Burn!", the 1960s was kind of a wasteland for him in terms of his film choices. And even the English language version of "Burn!" was a shortened butchering of the original Italian movie (though it at least featured Brando's real voice).

He received negative reviews for "Mutiny On The Bounty", though with respect to "The Ugly American" he arguably got better ones (though opinion about the movie itself was mixed). One of the comedies ("Bedtime Story") might have garnered a favorable review, but the other one ("A Countess from Hong Kong") was pretty much trashed. The western "One-Eyed Jacks" was deemed middle of the road (both it and Brando), though today it might receive a lot of airings simply because he's in it.

Of course, he rebounded big-time in the 1970s, after "The Godfather".
