Or even if you've got a manual can-opener that does work. Given how almost useless its cutting wheel is at opening cans that are no longer well-rounded along the top edge, due to whatever design flaw is afflicting cans these days. On the other hand, those super-cheap manual can-openers that have a simple, non-rotating cutting edge ironically can still get the job done in a way similar to the spoon method.
