Geez us…..The Mossad makes The High Table look like KAOS (Get Smart evil empire) . Just how many infiltrators, informants and moles paid by Israel can there be in any one Muslim country?

Apparently there are lots of eye and hand injuries because the pagers beeped before exploding and lots of people pulled them out of their pockets and were holding them in front of their face to look at them when they exploded.

One of those was the Iranian ambassador to Lebanon who has reportedly been blinded.

There's been a lot of speculation about why Israel decided to detonate all these pagers now. Wouldn't it make more sense to wait until/if Israeli tanks cross the Lebanese border headed north, so as to totally disrupt Hezbollah opposition by killing/maiming thousands of their fighters when they are most needed?

Al Monitor is reporting that two Hezbollah operatives discovered the pager plot. Israel was able to kill one of them but the other disappeared. So Israel decided to bring the operation forward so as not to lose it entirely.

(This whole thing seems like something out of a James Bond movie...)

It isn't just pagers!

Today Hezbollah's walkie-talkies are blowing up!! Reports of hundreds of additional injuries.

There are unconfirmed reports of many other electronic devices exploding as well. Even if they aren't true, these reports suggest that Hezbollah is currently fearful of all of their electronic devices.

The US embassy in Lebanon is telling Americans to keep a low profile, and that medical care is currently unavailable in large parts of Lebanon in the wake of hospitals and clinics being overwhelmed by two days of Hezbollah communications devices exploding.

And as-yet unconfirmed crowd-sourced word out of Israel reports Israeli military movements including armored vehicles headed north towards the Lebanese border. Which isn't surprising since the Israeli military would predictably want to take advantage of the current Hezbollah disorganization. With literally thousands of fighters killed, maimed and injured, and their communications totally disrupted, Hezbollah's ability to fight will be seriously degraded right now.

Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has ordered its members to discard all personal electronic devices (radios, PDAs, pagers, phones) that have been received since January.

The Syrian armed forces and other groups associated with the Assad regime are doing the same. Iranian proxy groups in Iraq are reportedly doing it too.

The Lebanese health ministry says that the toll from today's exploding walkie-talkies stands at 14 dead and approximately 450 injured, ranging from minor burns to severe hand and head injuries.

The Saudi Al Hadath news agency is reporting that 19 IRGC members in Syria were killled by exploding pagers yesterday, and about 150 injured.

One wonders if Israel got trigger-happy too soon. If they had allowed this tactic to spread widely through various enemy communities, the magnitude would have been even more striking.

I guess they had no choice, though. The cat was already out of the bag and soon to be discerned.

"The explosions came hours after Israel’s internal security agency said it had foiled an attempt by Hezbollah to kill a former senior Israeli security official using a planted explosive device that could be remotely detonated."

Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrullah made a televised speech today in Beirut, saying that the Israeli detonations of thousands of Hezbollah personal communications devices was a "declaration of war". (Never mind Hezbollah firing dozens of rockets into northern Israel every day...)

While Nasrullah was speaking, multiple Israeli F-15's were loudly buzzing Beirut.

A high level meeting headed by Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu and Defense Minister Gallant has begun in the IDF's underground headquarters in Tel Aviv. It's said to be the “most important discussions that have happened within the defense establishment for months”.

Goals are being set for the expansion of offensive operations against Hezbollah in the north, including:

1. The Primary Goal, establishing Conditions which will allow Residents in the North to return to their Homes.
2. Removal of Hezbollah from the Border Regions, up to the Litani River.
3. Significant Damage to Hezbollah's Military and Offensive Capabilities.
4. Avoiding the Expansion of the Campaign into a Full-Scale Regional War.

Everyone is noting that 1., 2. and 3. seem inconsistent with 4. That will be up to Iran, I guess.

The biggest question is what the United States will do if a full-scale regional war does break out.

The commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps says that the "Axis of Resistance" will launch a "crushing response" to the Israeli pager attacks.

The Iranian ambassador to Lebanon, Mojtaba Amani has been airlifted back to Iran, after suffering serious eye injuries that left him blind, when his pager exploded while he was looking at it.

The usual response. As long as it’s knee jerk then Israel has upper hand. This war requires thinking, not sure if Muslim militants can match Israeli ingenuity but they need to if they have any hope. Have feeling Mossad is a quantum leap ahead of Muslim military think tank. And probably thanks to women. Stifle half your brain power and Hezbollah and Hamas always going to be behind

Many fake messages were going out to Israelis in northern Israel last night, purporting to be from the Israeli homefront command. The messages are believed to come from Hezbollah and/or Iran. Israelis are warned not to click on any links in the messages.
