The Israelis have been in central Gaza city for several days and it appears that they now occupy much of the densest part. Video of the sky over Gaza city lit up by illumination flares.

War_Mapper's latest is below:

Quote:how to deal with bunkers under hospitals ?
thats a tricky one
are they booby trapped ?
will the purple, heavy, smoke idea work ?

According to War_Mapper's map, based on the Israeli briefings and various open-source intelligence, the Israelis are right outside the big Shifa hospital. I wouldn't be surprised if Hamas was firing on the Israelis from the hospital buildings, daring them to fire back. That's their strategy, to attack the Israelis and when the Israelis return fire, to count on the establishment media to play it up as a "war crime". Their only hope of surviving the war, let alone winning, is foreign pressure making the Israelis stop before Hamas is defeated. Then they would emerge as heroes.

Reportedly Hamas' main headquarters complex is underground, beneath the hospital. I don't think that the Israelis should enter the tunnels which are probably death traps. I'd favor pumping all the tunnels that they find full of poison gas, and fumigate them like one does with cockroaches - except that hostages are probably down there too.

Again judging by the map, it looks like the Israelis are concentrating on attacking the densest commercial parts of the city and have so far bypassed most of the (partly evacuated) residential areas. They probably hope that they can weaken Hamas that way without destroying everyone's homes.

i imagine those tunnels will be rigged with booby traps & considering how close the IDF is to the hospital i expect the Hamas leaders have escaped among the civilians taking some with them as human shields with a small handful of suicide soldiers in the complex waiting for the IDF to go in there.

better off if the IDF don't go in i think. not until they have the above ground secured & some drones to robot scout the tunnels to see if they can trigger any booby traps

that staining purple die that some banks have would be good in smoke form to colour anyone down in the tunnels
then look for purple faces and purples hands at check points
or micro dots

non lethal idea
micro dots blasted with air
UV spot light search beam from helicopter at night time

meanwhile Hamas government could have been supplying the hospital generators with fuel
but they chose not to.

No they are not 'fake quotes' from white genocide minded Jews who are entirely typical of their fellow tribal supremacist brethren.

The fool insinuation any but a tiny minority of the brown and black hordes pouring into and destabilizing Europe are anything other than Muslims is absurd.

Multiculturalism for thee but not for me. 'We' (i.e. Israeli Jews) just label them 'infiltrators' and expel en masse with no international outcry.
While our dear IsraAID and many other, mostly Soros funded NGOs, push them onto you dear whiteys. All in supposed (self)fulfillment of 'Yahweh ordained prophecy' e.g. Daniel 2:43.

Columbia University suspends Jewish Voice for Peace, Students for Justice in Palestine

School cites infractions culminating in unauthorized event that ‘included threatening rhetoric and intimidation’; JVP and SJP have held events accusing Israel of ‘genocide’ in Gaza

This is another example of leftists, Jewish or otherwise, just behaving like leftists.
Of course, some people would call them the "good Jews."

More antisemitic lies. Jews never claimed that the region was devoid of population, and anyone with half a brain knows that's a completely ridiculous lie. What Jews do claim is that they are the ancestral majority and have consistently occupied that region longer than any other peoples. There never was a Palestinian state until the PA, in 1994. So a "disappearing Palestine" is ahistorical or illiterate nonsense. This is all just historical fact. And this is a prime example of why no one should take this piece of shit seriously. If you respond, point by point, as he repeatedly whines about people not doing, he'll just dismiss your arguments out of hand and throw more overtly antisemitic links at you, with no substantial rebuttal. This is because his brand of hate is a mindless parrot. This is why he needs all the links, instead of making any arguments himself.

Like Jewish Voice for Peace, multiculturalists are leftists first and foremost. These leftists are overtly opposed to Israel/Zionism. Most of IsraAID's activity seems to be aid following natural disasters. But this moron probably thinks that's all a front.

And telling how the cognitive dissonance over the contradiction in the two legs of his conspiracy theory elicits nothing but silence.

It would be easy to again link to quality material demolishing those and sundry other lies, but why bother?
Refuting one-finger-salute Syne language defamatory nonsense is wearying and simply invites more of the same.
Go ahead and have the last say. The only good thing is no-one's pov here likely impacts more than a totally inconsequential minority in a backwater 'village'.

Everything this anti-Semite has linked to usually betrays it's own antisemitism within the first few sentences. That's how hard it is for evil pricks to hide their true intent. They can't even put on a successful facade of respectability or rationality.

As for the alluded to "a land without people for a people without a land," this moron is apparently as dumb as the idiots he cites.

Although the image of Palestine as a "land without a people" was most commonly advanced by Christian proponents of a Jewish return to Palestine, it would be wrong to ascribe the perception of Palestine as a land without a people only to Christians. In the context of the nineteenth century and the many nationalist movements that captured the Western imagination, the notion of a Jewish restoration in Palestine seemed logical, even without religious motivations. In 1891, William Blackstone sent an open letter, known today as the Blackstone Memorial, to U.S. president Benjamin Harrison: "Why shall not the powers which under the treaty of Berlin, in 1878, gave Bulgaria to the Bulgarians and Servia to the Servians now give Palestine back to the Jews? … These provinces, as well as Roumania, Montenegro, and Greece, were wrested from the Turks and given to their natural owners. Does not Palestine as rightfully belong to the Jews?"[22] Nineteenth-century Westerners associated peoples or nations with territory, and so to be a land without a people did not imply that the land was without people, only that it was without a national political character.

These morons claim it means "Palestine was empty of any population," but the phrase doesn't even says "population." These dumbasses are merely equivocating terms to suit their bigotry. Again, there was never a Palestinian nation until the Palestinian Authority in 1994. Before that, Palestine was just the name of the geographical region, not a unitary people.

But you can't expect overt bigots to be intellectually honest or even rational people. They're just garbage, trying to insulate themselves with more human trash.

Wow, that greyish area within the red border has been pounded to dust. I imagine that area has a few underground tunnels, or had. Seems to be one thing Hamas has trouble stopping….their own intel being leaked to the enemy. Could there be high ranking Hamas individuals with some healthy offshore bank accounts?

I guess it was inevitable that the Holocaust deniers would eventually latch onto 10/7.

Sabrina Khan-Williams, the “team leader/diversity, equity & inclusion teacher” in the World Studies department of Tilden Middle School, contends in social media posts that Hamas’ paragliding attack on a rave was a hoax.

“Debunked!! No music festival attack. Babies were not burned. Women were not violated,” she wrote on Facebook.

War_Mapper's latest. According to this, the Israelis advancing along the coast from the north and the south have met up. They control most of downtown Gaza City and have the Shifa Hospital complex surrounded.

The Israelis continue to claim that Hamas' headquarters is underground beneath the hospital and the US agrees. The hospital denies it. There are many reports and videos of Hamas fighters popping out of the hospital grounds and firing RPGs at Israeli armored vehicles, then dissappearing back into the hospital grounds.

The Israelis want to go in. Many say no, the hospital needs to remain inviolate. The hospital complains that they have no electricity and is running out of medicines, which is probably true. The Israelis have offered to evacuate the hospital, but Hamas refuses. The US seems to be pursuing a policy of intentional ambiguity on these issues.

Word tonight is that the Israelis have told the hospital authorities that they plan to enter the hospital tonight with truckloads of medical supplies. Of course if they deliver the needed supplies, the Israeli army will be inside the hospital complex and its buildings, from which they can search its basements looking for the tunnel exits. If Hamas resists their entry, the shortage of medical supplies will be their own doing.

There are estimates that Hamas had about 25,000 fighters. About 10,000 were in north Gaza where the Israelis are, and about 15,000 in south Gaza. Reportedly many of those 10,000 in the north are dead, wounded or have been disrupted to the point they are ineffective. But most of Hamas' strength still remains intact. Which probably explains why the Israelis want their underground headquarters so badly.

Update

The Israelis now occupy the entire Shifa hospital complex. The operation wasn't bloodless and there was said to be heavy fighting in and around the complex. The Israelis are looking for tunnel entrances as I write this.
