Once I decided to go stay a night at the Thornwood Mansion B&B near Seattle because I'd heard it was haunted. It was made famous for being where the Stephen King movie "Rose Red" was filmed. So I stayed there overnight, and had intended to watch a video of "Rose Red" they had on hand but decided not to. Nothing eventful happened there. When I drove back to Portland the next morning I turned on the TV and there was the movie "Rose Red" playing on that exact channel!

Last week I’m at a local fashion show, about 4hrs in duration. Organizers raise money for charity. They have a 50/50 draw at the end of show. Best deal is 7 tickets for $10. My friend decides to buy seven, pays his money and then recognizes he only received six. The seller acknowledges this and gives him a single ticket from a different roll of tickets, so not in sequence with the other 6. You guessed it, that ticket wins the jackpot, about $4G in this case. WTF?
