INTRO: So, the inevitable happened …. Our bushcraft shelters have been destroyed …. Chopped into tiny pieces and left all over the forest floor….
It couldn’t be any more ironic… I had a chat with my friends Ben and Ell last week and we decided to take down our shelters, as it was always built as a “winter camp”… the woods started picking up some more traffic so we thought best to move on… the lads took their shelters down on the weekend and I went out solo camping to dismantle my shelter …. As if by magic … it was done for me [probably by the forestry commission].

A lot of young people don't get into camping anymore because they cannot afford buying a 350 dollar backpack just for fun. I believe it's not necessary to go for the high-end products; sometimes you're just paying more for the brand, but not really for the quality anymore. Today I put together a camping backpack which contains cheaper and more affordable gear, and also gear which is not of bad quality.

NOTE: Mobile alerts regarding weather, child abductions, etc are common in the US. Maybe meteorological conditions aren't as volatile in the UK, but inevitably the Isles are going to copy trends transpiring elsewhere. (I.e., not necessarily a sinister motive as the stimulus.)
