She ended her own life on Saturday. Yes..that is how bad depression can get. Even for people who appear to have it all.

At least Naomi endured the family curse until age 76. Kurt Cobain never got past the 27 Club, or Sylvia Plath beyond 30 (her son Nicholas waited till 47 to hang himself).
Take into account the super-downer of her getting a career-ending Hep-C diagnosis in 1990 (contracted back when she was a nurse), where she was told by doctors that she would die within 3 years. But then the virus disappeared later (some might have ended things prematurely before then, or been disappointed that it didn't happen). |
