Here's the Marshall Fire, a major wildfire southeast of Boulder Colorado, in between Boulder and Denver. It's a suburban/exurban area and two large towns, Superior (population ~13,000) and Louisville (population ~21,000) have been evacuated. Many more communities are under evacuation warning. Reportedly its chaos around there, roads are clogged, blowing smoke has reduced visibility to near zero, 911 is overwhelmed, evacuation centers are being overrun, emergency responders can't get through and hundreds of buildings are on fire as we speak. Reports say that the cause was high winds (up to 100 mph) that caused downed power lines. The Colorado Governor has declared a state of emergency.
