Driver Intentionally Plows Through Wisconsin Christmas Parade

In Waukesha WI, a Milwaukee suburb. A local parade with lots of children in attendance. A big red SUV burst through a road block and drove at a high rate of speed into what was said by a local to have been the 'Dancing Grannies', sending people flying and rolling over others. The driver didn't slow down and continued plowing through the length of the parade for blocks. The car seems to have been on the sidewalk for part of the way. Gunshots were heard, but it apparently was a local police officer shooting at the vehicle. Multiple fatalities reported (they won't say how many) and many seriously injured transported to local hospitals, about half of them children.

The driver didn't stop and drove away. A "person of interest" is reportedly in custody. They aren't releasing any information on the person's identity. Photos of a similar red SUV in a driveway with its front all crushed in.

Last news I saw was still sticking with the culprit being somebody fleeing due to involvement in a knife fight -- rather than terrorism, mental illness, or fanatical cause impulses being behind it. That might or might not change completely by daybreak.

5 dead, 40 injured, a black male in his late 30s said to be suspect in custody. While he may have been fleeing a knife fight, that doesn't mean he wasn't targeting parade goers. The two are not mutually exclusive.

Darrell Brooks, the ''suspect,'' has a criminal history dating back to 1999. He was out on a cash bond related to different crimes, at the time of this attack. -_-

Social platforms are or will be removing his videos, tweets, facebook material, etc. But enough seems to have been captured by some beforehand to indicate his fanatical politics, well before the Rittenhouse results were a stimulus.

The Children's Hospital of Wisconsin says that they have admitted 18 children from Waukesha. Ten of those are in intensive care. Six of the child ICU patients are in critical condition, three in serious condition and one in fair condition. The hospital says that their patients include three sets of siblings.

And the always-compassionate-and-morally-better-than-you democrats have been heard from. Mary Lemanski, the (former) "social media director" of the DuPage County (big suburban Chicago county) democratic party in Illinois posted many tweets last night in including these:

"It was probably just self-defense."

"The blood of Kyle Rittenhouse's victims is on the hands of Wisconsin citizens, even the children."

"You reap what you sow, Wisconsin."

"Someone who believes in reaping what you sow. Wisconsin put that bad energy out there. It came back real fast."

Somebody replied to her with this: "Seriously how does it feel to completely flush your career down the toilet via tweet? Was it fun?"

This morning she had deleted those tweets while claiming to be the victim and threatening to sue Fox news. When I looked a few minutes ago the whole twitter account had been deleted. Her facebook page seems to be down and her personal website has disappeared.

The DuPage county democrats have tweeted that Lemanski "resigned" this morning from her position with them. Her bio page on the DuPage dems website has already been taken down.

Ironically, Lemanski claims to be a student at Chicago's Second City comedy workshop. I guess she learned what not funny means.
