Hard to tell if this is a shot from a distance, perhaps from a crater rim and the dunes are much farther away. Then again could be small ripples of fine material next to some small rocks nearby. Which is it?

Due to field of view focus, I'd say the former.

Would it be worth going to Mars to see a view like that every morning? I'm thinking 'yes' - particularly if Mars could be maintained as a spider free planet.

Not a camel or oasis in sight, but still something for Elon to put in the travel brochure to attract Bedouins.
