Nope. Requires heated air to rise and cause the spinning movement. And even if there was heated air, it can't get past the glass cover as demonstrated by the blow dryer.

Exactly. It’s so obvious the dryer is heating the air inside bowl at table top height. Wait a few seconds and cold air falls from the top through the center and warmer air rises up the sides. I’ve heard it called the Psi wheel before.

Oh I see it now. Good catch. And the effect stops after a few seconds which is why he had his phone ring to interrupt it.
