Trump is really scared of brown people

Trump is really worried about the migrant caravan of Hondurans down in Mexico. He probably loses sleep over it. He wants to deploy the U.S. military to stop them at the border. I guess to shoot on sight? He lies that they are criminals. And now he lies that there are middle easterners among them. This is pre-election fearmongering at its finest folks. A weak and spineless demagogue responding only to the racist fears of his voter base.

No, it's called a sovereign nation rightfully protecting its borders and enforcing the laws already on the books.

It was actually the Guatemalan President who announced they had caught 100 ISIS operatives.

This 'caravan' of would-be illegal aliens might be a god-send for Republicans running in the midterms.

The promised "blue wave" in the midterms had already been withering, due to how Brett Kavanaugh had been treated. That basically closed the much-vaunted enthusiasm-gap.

Now the "caravan" is leading the the news every day, complete with 'Nobody can stop us!' boasts, riling up not only Trump voters but white middle class Democrats as well.

Who is going to better defend the integrity of US borders and American law? Republicans or Democrats? That's a total no-brainer.

It's what we saw in the 2016 elections, when Hillary outspent Trump about a zillion to one, had the open support of almost all of the media, and still lost. Democrats still haven't recognized that their rhetoric, "resistance" and over-the-top antics play right into Trump's hands and is essentially free political advertising for the Republicans. Better advertising than they could have purchased themselves.

When voters are asked what issue they think is most important, immigration comes in #1. If the Democrats were smart, they would emphasize an issue where they are still popular like health-care, not let themselves get dragged back to issues where they are weak and relatively unpopular.

I think most voters are concerned more about health care than about immigration this election. I know I don't care about immigration. I know these people come here to work and contribute to our economy. I know the crime rate among undocumented immigrants is lower than among American citizens. I see no threat at all. I like the latino guys that leaf blow my apts every Thursday. I like the latino maids that bring fresh towels to my motel room. I cherish freshly picked produce, retarred roofs that don't leak, repaved roads with no potholes, and newly built houses. It's all good.

There was an earlier caravan in March/April. It was the only one I could find any video footage of back when this second procession first made the news in a deep way last week (I'm sure there's plenty footage available now of this current incarnation).

A brief history of blaming everything on immigrants:

https://immigrantarchiveproject.org/brie...ropaganda/

"One often overlooked yet highly controversial provision in President Trump’s executive orders on immigration includes a plan for sanctuary cities to publish a weekly list of crimes committed by “aliens.”

The provisions are nestled in Trump’s executive order on securing the nation’s interior. Under a section on “sanctuary jurisdictions,” the President’s executive order called for the Department of Homeland Security to publish a weekly “comprehensive list” of crimes.

This section reads as follows:

“To better inform the public regarding the public safety threats associated with sanctuary jurisdictions, the secretary shall utilize the Declined Detainer Outcome Report or its equivalent and, on a weekly basis, make public a comprehensive list of criminal actions committed by aliens and any jurisdiction that ignored or otherwise failed to honor any detainers with respect to such aliens.”

The wording, as you probably noted, failed to clarify whether the “aliens” or foreigners in question were documented or undocumented immigrants. I believe this proposed list amounts to nothing more than a concerted government effort to discredit and vilify our immigrant communities. In other words, this is pure propaganda, plain and simple."

In the context of "sanctuary jurisdictions", it doesn't matter one wit whether "aliens" are legal or not. Sanctuary city policies exist to thwart the enforcement of existing immigration law in general. Criminals released back into the community (and that's the only way sanctuary jurisdictions can "refuse" an immigration hold), rather than turned over to federal authorities, should be a concern of every community. The legal status of released criminals doesn't matter at all, so this is just a red herring.

who outsourced all the american jobs overthe last 40 years ? republicans
is zenophobia a positive or negative community value ?
using illegal immigration as a swap word for legalised racial segragation is ok ?

immigration as the number 1 issue when the word immigration means all the other words...

its hard to call it an informed debate when a different language has been established.

republicans want a MALE dictator as president. its that simple.
Republican men and women will never accept a female leader telling other republican men what to do.
wont ever happen.

Democrats, by making America inhospitable to business, through heavy regulation and high taxes.

All phobias are negative, by definition of their harmful effect on well-being, but ingroup loyalty is a positive community trait.

The most racial segregation occurs in large cities controlled by Democrats, and they even flip out, to this day, when people suggest school integration.

You can see where this will go.

The opening of vast ghettos to house "aliens" away from the pure blood elitists, "aliens" being made to wear visible badges at all times so everyone knows they are one, The turning a blind eye to "aliens" getting beatdowns by both law enforcement and self-appointed patriots, the opening of vast (low if not any pay at all) sweat shops where health and welfare isn't a concern since there is always plenty more "aliens" to replace them.

Didn't soldiers and civilians die in the pursuit of stopping that previously? Just remember what your/our countries are becoming on Armistice/Veterans Day.
