No doubt they have their own flavor of the word, but yeah -- that was definitely the English version. At some point either prior to or after the branches battering the building, it almost looked like instant two-by-fours flying off that tree for a moment. Years ago I remember a large oak tree on a hill that got totally obliterated when lightning struck it. Not even a jagged stump remaining, pieces scattered across the whole pasture. Never saw the incident but heard and felt the ground-rocking explosion a mile away from the neighbor's, where it happened. |
