Been binge watching Forensic Files and came to the realization that many of the murders in these episodes might never have happened if Life Insurance wasn’t available. 
A powerful incentive/motive for murder. If I was a homicide investigator then it would be the first thing I look for. Amazing how people with criminal and violent pasts can buy it like drugs off the street.
I don’t bother with life insurance anymore. I used to purchase it through a group plan at work and I only did so while my kids were young and my wife would need the money should I have died. I never tried to insure someone else’s life and name myself as the beneficiary. Is it that easy to do? Maybe they should ban that practice and save a few lives.
