Trump Tests Positive for the Coronavirus

60 Minutes aired an interview with Tara Reade, who accused Biden of sexual assault...but only in Australia. Leftists who run the media couldn't bear to show Americans the truth before the election.

Also, Trump is back in the White House, what, 3 days after his diagnosis. Considering he's definitely in the high-risk demographic, just more evidence that Covid ain't shit. One study showed that 1/3 of deaths would have occurred by the end of the year anyway, and the other 2/3 in 2021. Taking bets on how many lockdowns end once the election is settled.

Polls in the US are sill showing Biden with a decent lead, so what makes people think Trump will win? I do, but I may be too close to it.

Obviously different countries have different experiences of Corvid19.

In the UK we see weekly deaths are now just above normal levels.

What is interesting is that after the peak we (I) don't see the drop that would be expected if the deaths in the peak were just deaths that would have happened anyway though shifted slightly forwards in time. In the UK our statistics are regularly fouled up by incompetence but not (so far, I hope) so much the result of  political bias.

I can certainly see Syne's point that what applies to someone receiving the best healthcare on the planet will apply to the average Joe on the street. The UK experience was that our healthcare facilities were overwhelmed. To what extent those treated would have died or should have been allowed to die is another question. Of those that did die the graph above suggests the majority were not scheduled for departure as they do not appear as a reduced death rate in the following months.
