Watching the trailer I thought it was something Netflix appropriated from the BBC, since the latter has had a TV series set in Sweden before. But it literally is a Swedish production? I didn't even notice the dubbing, but wasn't looking for it the first time around.

There was a time when I preferred captioning over dubbing on non-Anglophone films and shows, but that's over. I'm usually too busy nowadays to stay constantly glued to the screen of a television, monitor, or device to read such dialogue.

If it has more than one season, then I might not watch it until they declare the third is a done deal. I don't want to make another choice like I did watching the first two seasons of The OA and then have Netflix cancel it afterwards on a cliffhanger ending (or that Swedish network in this case).

Yes, it is a Swedish production, and the voice overs are actually quite good.. Normally, I loathe voice overs. is such a good series that takes you on a bit of a wild ride, feeling a roller coaster of emotions. So far, it's only one season and I'm not sure if it's going to come back for a second. But, it's worth the watch.
