Bell's Inequality

#1
Ostronomos Offline
Based upon Einstein's stubborn persistence, Bell sought to maintain the concepts of locality and objectivity of reality by positing a two-particle entangled system that communicated through a quantum channel of some sort, but this was viewed as dubious in the end. Bohm later tried to maintain the same view but said that all particles in the universe are connected and one part of the universe can instantaneously affect all others. The idea of local hidden variables are now seen as a redundant addition to Quantum mechanics that ultimately yields the same outcome as without local hidden variables. Thanks to the advances in science, we now know this was a flawed assumption. Hooray.
