Explanation: The extra lines in red after my actual 5-word contribution above are purely examples for making sense out of the latter, in case the sudden shift to "a son" initially seems nonsequitur.

The lines in red are not part of the canon (i.e., I'd be out of turn at least 3 times) so add your 5-word installment after "born". The introduction of "a son" can go a different route and not even be associated with the old lady and her younger days. Her regretted fealty also does not have to have been to a spouse, with respect to letting her lover go because of that.
