One of the companies I occasionally order from (Pimoroni.com) had on their website (I assume as a result of 'lockdown')
"We've forgotten how to dress properly and don't know what day of the week it is.".

Mountain lions aren't much to fear. They are accustom to taking down prey quickly. So as long as you can protect your neck and fight back, they give up quickly. I would be more worried about pack hunters.

I don't know, maybe, but that's not my idea of a good time. They look pretty scary to me. The trail follows along the bottom of a steep cliffs and they’re extremely stealthy. They can leap 40 feet and jump as high as 18 feet. I wouldn’t have a chance. They weigh more than I do. That mountain lion that guy killed with his bare hands was just a cub that weighed less than 40lbs.

True, you would have to be able to stay on your feet. I've seen videos of unarmed men fending off full-grown mountain lions. But they are both on level, wide-open ground. So no chance to sneak up on or pounce from above.

I’m a long distance runner and looks like everyone’s a runner now since gyms are closed. My usual running trail was busy today. I love it! People might finally be experiencing the runner’s high and other benefits of running, that’s I’ve been preaching about.

On the evening exercise with Mrs C2 I said I'd just run on ahead and come back for her. Looking back I was astonished to see her running and not far behind. This is the same Mrs C2 that has been moaning about her 'legs' for the last 30 years or more. Naturally I had to show off how fast I could run if I wanted to - result cramp and for the last two evenings I've been hobbling along trying to keep up with her.

I did consider that if people really wanted to make sure that social distancing was done properly, we should all be out with umbrellas. Nobody ever wants to get close to someone wielding an umbrella.... usually down to the prongs being potential eye gougers. This means if two people pass with an umbrella each it's probably near the 2m mark.

I’m losing my shit!

I’m no longer a law-abiding citizen. I’ve snuck out several times. I’ve gone for hikes and leisurely drives. If push comes to shove, I’ll even put on my son’s ghillie suit if I have to. Even before this happened, I’ve never even came within 20 feet of someone in the forest. It's rare to even encounter anyone.

At first, they said that law enforcement officers would rely on voluntary compliance but now they’re really cracking down. Numerous people have been getting hefty fines here in California. Our county doesn’t even allow you to go for a drive because all travel has the potential to increase the risk of transmission, e.g., getting gas, automotive repair or maintenance, towing, etc. They also noted that each outing may increase your risk of a car accident that might require medical staff and supplies currently needed to battle the virus. We only have four confirmed cases here.

In a nearby county, the health officer is requiring that all residents wear a scarf or bandanna. She doesn’t want residents to purchase the medical ones because health care workers need them but law enforcement officers were ordered to start ticketing all residents without a mask, who are inside a building other than home. In addition to outside areas if unable to remain six feet apart. 

The rise in state power is starting to scare me more than the virus.

I guess conservatives gathered together in Michigan to protest the excessive restrictions but it’s not unconstitutional. The state can exercise its police power to establish quarantines against human beings, animals, or plants.

You’re allowed to swim in the ocean but all the beaches are closed. You’re allowed to walk for exercise but all the parks and trails are closed. All the stores have closed off the isles of nonessential items. You can’t buy plants or seeds but they’re reporting that our food supply is in jeopardy. WTF? 

No one can even say when it will end. I listened to all the speeches from Trump and Newsom. They talked for a long time but didn’t say anything. It basically boiled down to useless thoughts and prayers.
