Are Atheists Genetically Damaged?

Why would a pacifist fight a killer? To kill? My idea of pacifist must be different than yours.

Quote:selfish, disloyal pacifists don't pass on their genes.

Ghandi had 4 sons. So that's definitely not true.

I never even implied a pacifist would. I said:

"Good people...who already know they'd never behead other people"

That's obviously not how you described yourself, so you have no reason to conflate that with a pacifist.

I'm tired of pacifists. I'm not going to be polite around them anymore. I'm not going to be accommodating in polite society and pretend that while I differ, I respect the pacifist opinion. I don't. Pacifists are wrong, and this is why. Pacifism tolerates, even abets, terrorism and fascism -- and the war and violence that come from them.

Since when was Gandhi selfish and disloyal?

Seems he was very loyal to India's people and lived a very austere life.
Not all pacifists are equal...or...read the whole sentence you quote.

You're the one saying pacifists are selfish and disloyal. How are they selfish and disloyal just because they don't support violence?

You REALLY need to learn how to read. I said:

That literally means "selfish AND disloyal pacifists". It's a specific subset of all pacifists, where a Venn diagram intersects with the selfish and the disloyal.

Seriously, work on that reading comprehension, mate.

What does being selfish and disloyal have to do with pacifism or with not having kids? It doesn't make sense. A pacifist is generally not a selfish or disloyal person.

Why don't you try figuring out the context of that reply in the discussion? God forbid you manage to think for yourself.

Seems someone claimed to be a pacifist AND disloyal (e.g. "foreign power coming down my street...hang a banner from my front door saying ‘Welcome’") AND selfish (i.e. doesn't support anyone else). There's significant overlap between pacifists and isolationists/non-interventionist, who would selfishly refuse to help others end suffering when fully capable of doing so. And conscientious objectors refuse to help their own countrymen when already in combat...which certainly seem less than loyal.

And what woman in her right mind wants to have the children of a pansy, selfish prick? So the real question is what does being selfish or disloyal NOT have to do with pacifism?

How does refusing to inflict violence NOT help end suffering? Seems you're all confused about what a pacifist really desires.

There is plenty of evidence that the "Good" people can do wrong, after all look at how religion invented "The witch hunt" (Which for the most part was just the manipulation of hysteria for political gain) how many "genetically mutated people" did religion burn because of difference?

As for survival, funnily enough certain eastern philosophies have Yogi's that push extremes in the attempt to have some semblance of rapture (Rapture in this particular instance is having their survival instincts kick in, after all there is exhilaration in survival and positive reflection of the ingenuity in the process of how to survive.)

Such acts as sleeping on beds of nails, purposely inflicting pain and suffrage on themselves (burning, cutting, etc) but to the outside world such displays would be seen as quite warped.

Funny how the mutation in the context of the OP is damaging when it's a well known fact that it is a naturally reoccurring event. Indeed most genetic mutations never pan out in an evolutionary sense but some do. I can't think of any reason why anyone would claim the so-called atheist mutation is damaging. Should I apply for a disability pension?
