I started watching that documentary about Murder Mountain, too. That’s exactly where I was when I got so scared. Remember?

The sheriff said that it was sensationalized, but I travel there a lot, and I thought the director was spot on. I understand now how it went from the peaceful hippie types to the more dangerous variety. After watching it, I don't think I'll be hiking there any more.

Feelings, instincts and intuitions have been monitors for subtle dangers far longer than the modern frustrations of not having sufficient data at the time to make a rational case in language or numbers for why one should get the hell out of or avoid an area.
