California Fires Starting Up Again

A fire has broken out between Fairfield and Vacaville, in Solano county. It's been given a name, the 'Nelson Fire'. It's on the Calfire 'incidents' thing, but no details yet. Its significance is that this is suburban area with lots of houses. Neighborhoods are being evacuated as we speak.

This is from a crewman on a US Forest Service C-130 that was flying to the Ranch fire when they were reassigned to drop retardant on the new Nelson fire. Some dramatic video.
